Dobson Ranch HOA 5K Family Run

 

Veterans Day saw the rebirth of an old East Valley run.  The Dobson Ranch 3 Mile and 1 Mile was held at Laguna Park inside Dobson Ranch.  The 3 mile course went through part of the neighborhood and along two of the lakes then back to the park.

A warm-up stretch session was lead by representatives of Easy Fitness Solutions.  Raffle prizes, great food and drinks awaited the runners at the finish line.

It was a serpentine course for the Free Kid's dash.  What fun!  A week-end date next year should bring more runners out to this family friendly event.

Overall awards were given to first place Jason Thompson with a time of 6:44 and Jennifer Quraishi at 15:34 in the 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk.

Awards for the 5K overall runners were given to Zecharia Anderson at 20:46 and Cara Hammer at 25:21.

Beautiful day for a fun event.
